The King Assassins began in T32 as a team in the U1300 division of the 45 45 League at the Internet Chess Club. The KAs won the league on their first try. In T37 the U1300 section was replaced with U1400 and U1200, and the team expanded to the King Assassins and the King Assassins U1200, who immediately made their mark by also winning the league on their first try. In T38 a second KA U1200 team was added.
